Although shooting lessons at our venues are available via third party booking agents, you'll always get the best value for money by booking directly with us.
At the Essex Shooting Ground individual lessons are available on either beginners, or advanced targets by Roger Hill.
Roger is a Clay Pigeon Shooting Association
( CPSA) course tutor, senior shooting coach.
He is also a member of the I.C.S.I (Institute of Clay Shooting Instructors) and
A.P.S.I. (Association of Professional Shooting Instructors).
As a C.P.S.A. senior instructor for more than 10 years, Roger has trained instructors all over the UK, USA & Ireland from level 1 up to senior levels within the C.P.S.A. coaching network.
Roger has over 30 years shooting experience at clay pigeon shooting and has represented the Great Britain Fire Service team many times at International level at home and abroad, winning a gold medal in Barcelona for Olympic trap.
Prices for individual lessons are £45 per hour + clays & cartridges. On Saturdays tuition with Roger costs £50 per hour. Clays cost 23p each, cartridges £4.00 per 25.
A typical individual shooting lesson on a weekday, at 50 clays, lasting 1 hour, will cost approximately £65 / £75 with everything included.
Booking & pre-payment is essential for all shooting lessons.
